kereru on flax garden stake or wall art | corten | 90cm

$169 NZD

A kereru settled on a flax blade, cut as one piece and pushed straight into the garden or hung on a fence.

Slim enough to tuck between plantings and tall enough to hold its own in a border or a large pot.

Cut from New Zealand corten steel and hand finished in Auckland. Corten is a weathering steel, so it is meant to rust. The rust forms a protective skin on the outside while the steel underneath stays strong, and the piece only looks better as it ages.

Size: 90cm x 12.5cm.  If used as a garden stake, approximately 10cm goes into the ground, so it stands around 80cm tall.

Material: New Zealand corten weathering steel

Suitable for: Outdoors, on a wall or fence or in a garden or large planter

Installation:  Use the cut outs to screw on to a fence or push straight into the ground. No fixings required.

Pair it with the tui on flax garden stake, or browse the rest of Lisa's NZ garden art.

Designed and hand finished in Auckland by LisaSarah, making steel art in New Zealand since 2007.
